Why We Exist
We believe service should create more than a moment of relief.
A meal can matter enormously to someone who is hungry. School support can help keep a child learning. A skill can open a door to income. A safe environment can change the direction of a young person’s life. A caring community can help a family regain hope. And a strong institution can continue serving people long after an individual project has ended. This is why SKCCT brings Eight Pillars together.
Supernatural Kingdom Community Church Trust brings together immediate assistance, empowerment and institution-building under one accountable structure. We do not believe that every problem has a quick solution. We do believe that meaningful change requires patience, accountability, participation and a willingness to learn.
How We Work: Our Eight Pillars Approach
Every need is approached through the Eight Pillars, for holistic, sustainable, Christ-centred transformation.
- Pillar 1: Evangelism & Discipleship
- Advancing the Gospel through SKCC Kenya, worship, teaching, prayer and missions. This is our spiritual foundation.
- Pillar 2: Education
- Breaking the cycle of poverty through basic education, school feeding, scholarships, mentorship and SKTTC.
- Pillar 3: Healthcare
- Promoting accessible and affordable health services. Healthy people build healthy communities. This includes health awareness, hygiene and referral linkages.
- Pillar 4: Feeding & Humanitarian Support
- Responding to hunger and crisis through food relief and emergency assistance for vulnerable families, widows and orphans.
- Pillar 5: Community Development & Empowerment
- Working with communities, not just for them: needs assessment, participation, and support for families, women and youth.
- Pillar 6: Sports Outreach Ministry
- Using sports for evangelism, youth engagement, discipline, talent development and community cohesion.
- Pillar 7: Sustainable Community Development
- Building for tomorrow through community centres, water, environmental stewardship and infrastructure that lasts beyond a single project.
- Pillar 8: Employment & Livelihoods
- Economic independence through skills, entrepreneurship, vocational training and lawful, ethical income generation.
How We Apply the Pillars
Before we act, we ask:
- What need are we addressing, and under which Pillar or Pillars?
- Who is affected, and who is most vulnerable?
- What is already being done locally?
- What can SKCCT contribute?
- What resources are needed, and what are the risks?
- How will we measure success?
- What happens after the project ends?
Every project must align to at least one Pillar, and we begin with a needs assessment where appropriate.
Our commitment: to be faithful, accountable and useful. Good intentions need good governance across the Eight Pillars.
